UN International Decade for People of African Descent (2015-24)

On 10 December 2014, the UN General Assembly launches the UN International Decade for People of African Descent.Drawing from the UN World Conference Against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance (UNWCAR) in 2001, the decade sets out to focus on the key themes of 'recognition, justice and development'.
