Statement:

Violations and damages to someone's or to a nation’s rights or integrity require compensations and restitutions from the harm done. The Afrikan people suffered from enslavement and deportation centuries ago, but the stigma persists today due to the fact that reparations have not been obtained. Therefore, it is crucial that the interest group (Afrikans and Caribbeans) and scholars organize and coordinate efficiently the historical facts related to the crime committed with a view to addressing legal claims for reparations. The objectives of reparations would serve to relieve the interest group of continuing psychological torments.
