Reparations means the use of international resources to address inequalities caused or exacerbated by the climate crisis on the Global South from the Western world. Reparations could also mean that the Global South foregoes the colonial debt to the West due to the ecological debt that the West owes to the Global south. Either way, reparations means collective gain for those subjected to the violence that is colonialism, slavery and imperialism, as well as the continual exploitation of these same people for the accumulation of wealth for the western world!
